TEACHERS - Romans10:15

14

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Titus 2:7-8 – “Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.”

Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

 James 3:1-2 – “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.”

 Luke 6:40 – “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”

 1 Peter 4:10 – “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:”

 Psalm 32:8 – “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”

 Deuteronomy 32:2 – “May my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distill as the dew, like gentle rain upon the tender grass, and like showers upon the herb.”

 2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Deuteronomy 6:1-25 -

1 – “Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:”

 

 

 Verse 2 – “That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

 

 

 Verse 3  -“ Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

 

 

 Verse 4 – “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

 Verse 8 – “And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.”

 

 

 Verse 9 – “And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.”

 

 

 Verse 10 – “And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

 Verse 24 – “And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear (respect) the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

 

 

 Verse 25 – “And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.”
